CNHC Registration & Accreditation
Victoria Banning is registered and accredited with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) the UK’s independent regulator for complementary health practitioners.
What is the CNHC?
The CNHC was established with government support to protect the public by setting professional standards for complementary therapies. It holds a UK-wide register of practitioners who meet national standards in their field.
As a CNHC-registered Reiki practitioner, we:
- Meet nationally recognised standards of practice
- Adhere to the CNHC Code of Conduct, Ethics and Performance
- Commit to safe, professional, and ethical client care
- Maintain continuous professional development (CPD)
The CNHC register is also accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA), the same organisation that oversees statutory bodies like the GMC, NMC, and HCPC.
Why CNHC Registration Matters
For clients, CNHC registration provides assurance that you are working with a trained, qualified, and accountable professional.
It also matters in healthcare settings. Some NHS trusts, hospices, and integrated health services will only work with or refer to practitioners who are CNHC registered, making it a valuable credential for those wishing to work in professional environments.
